You Scream, I Scream.. for What Again?

:)  Ice cream!  In the forest!  Can you believe I haven't had any soft-serve ice cream yet this Spring? If it gets to summer and I still haven't been to our local spot, Hoyer's, I might go crazy!

I sketched this about a week ago, with the intention of coloring in photoshop. I am loving all the filters and brushes that I downloaded years ago and never used. i put some on my work computer and poof! I like it. The background is slightly eerie and grungy which i love, but i guess it doesn't exactly go with the nice happy ice cream truck.  Once i force myself to re-learn use of my pen tablet, I can only imagine how much better it could look. :)

    I think it looks fabulous! We are just heading into winter here - no ice cream for me :-)

    I think the background works well, it does not compete for attention with the truck but provides a nice context.
